Roofs in transition: innovative solutions for modern requirements

Roofs are much more than just the upper closure of a building – they protect against wind, weather, and extreme temperature fluctuations. At the same time, they play a central role in the longevity, energy efficiency, and functionality of a house. However, with the increasing demands of modern buildings, the challenges for roofs are also changing. Photovoltaic systems, air conditioning units, satellite dishes, or cell towers require secure and reliable roof entries so that lines, pipes, and cables can pass through the roof without compromising its structure or integrity.

Whether flat or pitched roofs - we offer the optimum waterproofing solution

Sophisticated waterproofing solutions are essential, especially for flat roofs, which are often used to install technical systems. Flat roofs with a pitch of less than 10° can be warm roofs, cold roofs or inverted roofs - each of these variants places different demands on the penetration systems. Here, UGA offers customized solutions with 360° swiveling goosenecks that allow flexible adaptation to the respective cable situation. Various internal diameters are also available to meet individual requirements. A double seal ensures maximum safety, while the overall height of the entries can be flexibly adjusted.

Reliable lead-throughs for cables and pipes are also crucial for pitched roofs. As they are usually covered with roof tiles or roof tiles, UGA roof ducts specifically replace individual tiles to ensure professional sealing. They can be used flexibly for roof pitches from 15° to 45° and are available as single or multiple entries as required. Special sealing systems, such as thermal sleeves or rubber press seals, permanently prevent the ingress of moisture.
